Marlow Surgical specialized in minimally invasive surgery for gynecology and general surgery. The company held eight patents. Kip has been a mentor and coach to a variety of company owners for 10 years in different kinds of industries. In 2013 he was honored to be chosen as the top 100 small business influencers in the United States by Small Business Trends, one of the most influential small business resources in the world. Jon Marten was named Executive Vice President – Finance and Administration and Chief Financial Officer of Parker Hannifin on November 29, 2010 and retired in April, 2017. Parker Hannifin, with revenues of over $15 billion, is the world’s leading diversified manufacturer of motion and control technologies and systems.
Mr. Marten joined Parker as a financial analyst in the Aerospace Group in 1987. He advanced through several different Division Controller positions and has been Vice President and Controller for the Instrumentation Group and the Aerospace Group, and Assistant Corporate Controller of the Corporation. Most recently he was Vice President, Corporate Controller. Mr. Marten retired from Parker Hannifin in 2017 after 30 years of service.
Mr. Marten has an undergraduate degree from the Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University (Virginia Tech), and his MBA from Baldwin-Wallace University. He currently serves as a trustee of Laketran in Lake County, Ohio and is a member of the Advisory Board of HOLA Ohio. He and his two children live in Concord Township, Ohio.
